Fountain Tire Cold Lake seeks a reliable General Labourer to join our team. You’ll assist with tire installation, balancing, TPMS work, parts delivery, and customer support in a clean, safe, and respectful shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous tire/automotive industry experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Able to lift 25 kilograms consistently.
• Customer-focused and able to build relationships with teammates and customers.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of required parts to ensure efficient operation.
• Picking up and dropping off customer vehicles at site locations.
• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS (tire pressure monitoring systems).
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Completing specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.).
• Assist in inventory management and annual inventory counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Fountain Tire Cold Lake (4001 50 St.), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a General Labourer!

You will be responsible for:

• Pickup and delivery of required parts to ensure the efficient operation of the business


• Picking up and dropping off customer vehicles at site locations


• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels


• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)


• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis


• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.


• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts


• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous tire/automotive industry experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude


• Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract


• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset


• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers


• A keen attention to detail
