American Iron & Metal (AIM) is recruiting a Non Ferrous Receiver for our Timmins location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises and for handling inbound ferrous metal processes.

Key duties include receiving, sorting, weighing with the RECY system, operating a forklift, and providing excellent on-site customer service while maintaining safety standards in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Good Computer Skills
• Experience in operating a crane
• Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work as a team

Responsabilités

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork lift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

• Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours
