Job summary

Blackline Civil is seeking a hardworking Labourer to assist with underground utility construction in Alberta. You’ll support trenching, pipe installation, and coordination with operators, pipelayers and foremen on site.

This role requires physical stamina, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and a strong team ethic. We offer a competitive salary, extended health benefits, and opportunities to grow within our civil division across Alberta.

• Previous construction or labour experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching and excavation work.
• Help install water, sewer, and storm pipes.

• Direct traffic or equipment when required.
• Follow instructions from Topman, Foreman and operators.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking Labourer to assist with underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems. You’ll work alongside operators, pipelayers, and supervisors to support trenching and pipe installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching and excavation work
• Help install water, sewer, and storm pipes
• Load/unload materials and tools
• Use hand tools (shovels, tampers, saws, etc.)
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization
• Direct traffic or equipment when required
• Follow instructions from Topman, Foreman, and operators
