Blackline Civil Inc. is seeking a skilled Finish Excavator with experience in underground construction to perform precise excavations around live utilities and install underground infrastructure such as water, sewer, and storm systems in Alberta projects.

Responsibilities include trenching, safety-focused operation around utilities, and coordination with pipe layers and supervisors, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to project specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of excavator experience in underground or civil construction.
• Proven experience working around live utilities.
• Strong understanding of trenching and excavation safety practices.
• Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and utility drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ground disturbance certification.

About the Role
