Job summary

Blackline Civil is seeking a hardworking Labourer to support underground utility construction across Alberta, assisting with trenching and pipe installation. You will work alongside operators, pipelayers and foremen to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary based on experience, extended health benefits, and opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding civil division across Alberta.

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworkingLabourer to assist with underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm systems. You’ll work alongside operators, pipelayers, and supervisors to support trenching and pipe installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with trenching and excavation work
• Help install water, sewer, and storm pipes
• Load/unload materials and tools
• Use hand tools (shovels, tampers, saws, etc.)
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization
• Direct traffic or equipment when required
• Follow instructions from Topman, Foreman, and operators
