Job summary

Titan Environmental is seeking a dedicated General Labourer to assist with the installation and repair of geomembrane liners and geosynthetic materials on environmental containment projects. This role offers outdoors work, travel to diverse job sites, and hands-on experience in a specialized field.

Candidates should be prepared for physical duties, varying weather conditions, and long periods of travel. This is a full-time seasonal position with overtime based on demand and will require travel

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform physical job duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for long durations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work sites by cleaning and levelling surfaces before installation.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with project specifications, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Installation and repair of geomembrane liners and geosynthetic materials.
• Assist with filling, lifting, and placing sandbags during installation.
• Remove excess insulating material and assist in quality control checks to ensure proper sealing and placement of geomembranes.
• Operate hand and power tools to cut, weld, and secure materials.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform other construction-related tasks as directed by supervisors.

• This is a full-time seasonal position with overtime based on demand.
• This position is open to candidates who will travel to our Leduc, AB, office.
• Wage will depend on the qualifications of the candidate.
