Job summary

GMS Family of Locations in Duncan, BC is seeking a General Labourer to join the warehouse team. You will assist with loading prep, secure loads, and maintain clean, safe work areas while following company policies and procedures.

You will interact with yard customers, load materials into vehicles, and assist in cutting materials as needed. This role requires physical effort and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic hand tool skills.

Position Purpose

Basic Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs.
• Frequently climbing up and down stairs and onto trucks and material.
• Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight.
• Customer service in the yard.
• Load material into vehicles.
• Cut material if needed.
• General yard housekeeping.

Compensation

The payscale for this role is $20-22 per hour.

The (range of) compensation for this position is $20.77 to $24.09
