Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing LP in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking reliable General Labourers to join our precision sheet metal operation. This role supports manufacturing, finishes parts, and works in a fast-paced production environment.

Starting wage is dependent on skills and experience, with day and afternoon shifts available. You'll follow safety procedures, use hand and power tools, handle materials, and contribute to ongoing quality and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or general labour experience is an asset but not required.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment.
  • Experience with grinding, deburring, finishing, or material handling is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
  • Forklift certification or experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements to maintain a safe and accident-free work environment.
  • Perform a variety of manufacturing and finishing operations, including tapping, riveting, shakeout, bead blasting, sheet rolling, graining, drilling, PEM insertion, Di-Acro operation, plunging, shearing, lathe work, milling, burnishing, and grinding.
  • Use the correct materials as specified by the MRP system, work orders, or special instructions provided by the Supervisor, Lead Hand or Scheduler.
  • Grind, deburr, and finish parts to meet quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, ensuring equipment and tools are properly cared for.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed established production standards and cycle times.
  • Report material, equipment, or quality issues to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner. Assist with other production and shop duties as required to support manufacturing operations.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our manufacturing team.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Experience with grinding, deburring, finishing, or material handling is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks as required.
  • Forklift certification or experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
Employment Details
  • Starting wage is dependent on skills and experience.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am.
  • Please note as of October 5, 2026 the afternoon shift hours will be changed to Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am.
