Job summary

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing is seeking a General Labourer to support heavy manufacturing operations in Canada with a focus on safety and reliability. You will read and interpret work orders, transport materials, sort metal parts, and use hand/power tools to grind and deburr edges.

Maintain a clean, safe workspace and assist with crane or forklift operations as needed. The role requires a minimum of 6 months related experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related experience.

• General knowledge of basic tools and equipment.
• Clear reading, writing, listening and speaking communications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders.
• Follow directions on work orders and from co-workers.
• Transport raw materials and finished metal products manually or with hoists.
• Sort metal sheets, parts, and scrap material.
• Grind and deburr sharp edges with hand/power tools.

• Participate in building maintenance and winter duties.

Who Are You?

Reporting to the General Foreman, the General Labourer is required to perform general labour and maintenance work and comply with workplace safety regulations and other Company policies and procedures.

What Will You Do?

• Readand interpretwork orders

• Participate in building maintenance, including landscaping and winter duties
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment
