Job summary

Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, is seeking a hands-on general labourer in Ontario. This role focuses on safe equipment operation and supporting agronomy, energy products and grain operations. A reliable team player is essential for daily activities and seasonal workload shifts.

You will load/unload, transfer goods, blend fertilizer, and assist with grain weighing and quality checks. A valid license, ability to lift 55 lbs, and willingness to overtime during busy seasons are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record; DZ license is an asset.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and operate basic plant equipment safely.
• Good map-reading, document handling, and basic math skills.

In This Role You Will

• Operate straightforward equipment and/or machinery and complete general labour duties.
• Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks, or trailers by hand or by forklift truck.
• Transfer goods, organize the products received and prepare goods for shipment.
• Blend fertilizer.
• You may receive grain, and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing the product to ensure quality aligns with GROWMARK’s standards.
• Remove snow in winter months.

What You Bring To The Table

• A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery.
• A valid driver’s license, with a clean record. DZ license is an asset.
• Ability to lift 55lbs.
• Ability to operate skid steer, loader, and/or bob cat.
• Ability to read maps, bills of ladings, follow specific delivery directions and instructions, follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures to ensure proper techniques are performed; write and make accurate entries in daily driving log, comprehend simple instructions.
• Conversational English skills.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
