Job summary

Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, Inc., is seeking a dedicated labour candidate for our Ontario operations. This full-time role focuses on performing general labour tasks, operating basic equipment, loading/unloading goods, and helping prepare shipments in a market that serves local farmers.

You will blend fertilizer, handle grain and assist with seasonal duties including snow removal. A valid driver's license is required, with DZ as an asset; comfortable with English communication and

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will:

• Operate straightforward equipment and/or machinery and complete general labour duties.
• Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks, or trailers by hand or by forklift truck.
• Transfer goods, organize the products received and prepare goods for shipment.
• Blend fertilizer.
• You may receive grain, and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing the product to ensure quality aligns with GROWMARK’s standards.
• Remove snow in winter months.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery.
• A valid driver’s license, with a clean record. DZ license is an asset.
• Ability to lift 55lbs.
• Ability to operate skid steer, loader, and/or bob cat.
• Ability to read maps, bills of ladings, follow specific delivery directions and instructions, follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures to ensure proper techniques are performed; write and make accurate entries in daily driving log, comprehend simple instructions.
• Conversational English skills.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

• Willingness to work extra hours in the spring planting and fall harvesting seasons.

SALARY RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00
