Job summary

Advantage Personnel is assisting a Hamilton-area manufacturer in filling a General Labour position in Stoney Creek, ON. The role is full-time, days, Monday to Friday, in a fast-paced facility that designs and manufactures specialized transportation equipment.

You will move materials, assist machine operators, check and pack products, and build skids. Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, familiarity with basic hand and measuring tools, and the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

Job Type: Full-time

This is a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Our client designs and manufactures specialized commercial transportation equipment. The ideal candidate will have long-term experience in a similar production or manufacturing role. We are looking for candidates who can interview as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

• Move raw materials and finished items by hand or using equipment.
• Check, weigh, sort, and package products.

• Lift 50lbs regularly throughout your shift.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment required.
• Experience with hand and measurement tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tape, box cutters, and power tools.
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs repetitively.
• CSA Safety Shoes required.
• Must be willing to provide a criminal record search.
