Job summary

Cascades in St-Marys, Ontario is seeking a General Labour to support our manufacturing facility. You will feed machines, set up sections, monitor quality, and assist operators during two‑week day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts.

This role offers an hourly wage of 24.79 CAD, plus a profit sharing plan, telemedicine, group insurance and a company pension with contributions, and an PPE allowance to support your health and safety on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Feed the machines and assist with setting-up various sections on machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Obtain order and verify stock specifications and condition.
• Monitor box quality and report any quality problems to the Operator.
• Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist operators with job duties on machine.
• Turn in maintenance orders to shift lead for repairs.
• Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
• Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by shift lead
