Job summary

Career Street is seeking a production worker for the evening shift in Ontario. You will manually pack meat products, operate packaging equipment, and maintain clean work areas in a cold production environment.

The role requires good manual dexterity, reliability, and the ability to work on a fast-paced line. Prior GMP/HACCP knowledge is a plus; candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an eight-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for repetitive tasks in a cold environment.

• Willing to follow supervisor directions.

Job Summary

Manipulating product on the production line. Manually packing goods into bags and boxes or other containers. Cleaning work areas and equipment. Feeding and unloading processing machines. Checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.

Requirements

• Good manual dexterity
• Mature, autonomous, responsible, and dependable
• Production experience is an asset
• Knowledge of GMP’s and HACCP regulations Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast paced environment
• Working in a refrigerated department, 34-45 degrees Fahrenheit (1-7 degrees Celsius)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (23kg)
• Capable of working in a CO2 environment where employees are not exposed to more than 5,000 ppm of CO2 during an eight hour shift
• Capable of working on the production line while standing during the eight (8) hour shift
• A person who is team-oriented and able to multi-task.
