Job summary

Belwood Poultry Limited in Windsor is seeking workers for a poultry processing role within the production team. You will sort, pack and weigh materials, trim and de-bone poultry, and strictly follow PPE and safety requirements.

The job requires maintaining cleanliness, adhering to SOPs, and communicating effectively with team members across levels. The environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with opportunities for wage review after probation.

Responsibilities

• Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products.
• Check and weigh materials and products.
• Trim, cut and de-bone various cuts of poultry.
• Demonstrated ability to wear proper PPE (steel toe-rubber boots, hair nets, gloves, safety glasses, face coverings etc.) and comply with safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility.
• Adhere to individual Product Standard Operating Procedures for components and packaging materials.
• Interact and share information with Team Members at all levels (Lead Hands, Supervisors, Others). Actively participates in their work group.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and in damp wet conditions ( Under 10 ˚ C)


• Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)


• Physical requirements: standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending, and lifting.


• Fast paced environment.

Compensation:

• Wage & Performance review after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period. Wage and performance will be reviewed annually.
