Job summary

Boardwalk is hiring a Drain Cleaning Technician in Edmonton to operate steam trucks, high-pressure hoses, and video inspection gear to maintain building drainage for our rental properties.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or with a team while delivering safe, efficient service and strong customer care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years drain cleaning experience required.
• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written.
• Valid Driver’s license and driving abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers.
• Ensure daily communication with Plumbing team.
• Operate and drive steam truck.
• Operate high pressure/high heat hoses to clean building drain lines.
• Repair/replace drain piping as needed including the install of drain clean-outs.
• Operate video inspection/locating equipment.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and steam truck.
• Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Minimum 2 years drain cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements:

Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset
