Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a skilled drain cleaning technician to ensure health, comfort and safety for customers while operating steam trucks and cleaning drain lines. The role requires coordination with the plumbing team, handling high pressure hoses and performing drain repairs as needed.

You will also manage documentation on a tablet, maintain equipment, and comply with safety and quality standards. This position favors those with 2 years of drain cleaning experience and a valid driver’s license.

• Ensure daily communication with the team lead and the plumbing team.
• Operate and drive steam truck.
• Operate high pressure/high heat hoses to clean building drain lines.
• Repair/replace drain piping as needed including the install of drain clean-outs.
• Operate video inspection/locating equipment.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and steam truck.
• Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet.

Responsibilities

Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers

Experience and Educational Requirements

Minimum 2 years drain cleaning experience preferred

Technical Requirements

Working knowledge of English both verbal and written

Valid Driver’s license and driver’s abstract required

Familiarity with technology is an asset
