Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking Truck Team Members for full-time or part-time roles. You will operate in a busy, customer-facing environment, driving a blue truck to collect unwanted items from customers’ homes and properties.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering friendly service while lifting items, loading trucks, and maintaining a positive attitude on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age for driving positions.
• Valid Full G License or better.
• Clean driving record (past 3 years).
• Physically able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous customer service, sales, physical labor, and/or driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Match with truck team and follow service routes for the day.
• Visit customers' homes to remove unwanted items and leave smiles.
• Dispose of items responsibly through recycling, donating and waste facilities.
• Work in a stable environment and contribute to customer satisfaction.

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is growing and looking for positive, physically fit people to join our Truck Teams . We're the World's Largest Junk Removal Service, known for our professional, friendly team members and clean, shiny blue trucks.

Truck Team Member - General Labor / Customer Service / Driver

• Hiring Immediately for Full-Time & Part-Time - must be available to work at leas 3 shifts per week. Shift start times can vary between 7:30 am to 11 am and are typically 8-12hrs. We operate 7-days a week with various shifts and days available.
• Starting pay:$18/hour plus tips (cash tips daily and card tips on every pay cheque) and performance bonuses (paid monthly).

About the position

• Each shift starts at our centrally located office where you'll be matched up with your truck team and given your service routes for the day
• You’ll head out in our shiny blue trucks to visit customers' homes and properties and take away their unwanted items while leaving smiles on their faces
• You’ll dispose of items responsibly through our recycling, donating and waste management facilities

About you

• Must be 21+ years of age for driving positions (for insurance purposes)
• A valid driver's license(Full G License or better)
• A safe, responsible driver with a c lean driving record (past 3 years)
