Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is expanding its Truck Teams and seeks motivated, physically fit individuals for part-time weekend work in Barrie, Ontario. Shifts run mornings to early afternoons; hours vary and 7 days a week operation is possible.

Starting pay is $17–$18 per hour plus cash tips daily and monthly bonuses, with potential to earn around $25 per hour including tips. Responsibilities include driving a company truck, inspecting the vehicle, visiting customers, removing items, and disposing of

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age for insurance purposes.
• A valid driver's license (Class G).
• Physically able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly.
• Positive, friendly attitude and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous customer service, sales, physical labor, and/or driving experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Start each shift with a vehicle inspection and safety meeting.
• Visit customers' homes in shiny blue trucks to remove unwanted items.
• Dispose of items responsibly through recycling, donation, and waste facilities.

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is growing and looking for positive, physically fit people to join our Truck Teams . We’re the World’s Largest Junk Removal Service, known for our professional, friendly team members and clean, shiny blue trucks.

Truck Team Member – General Labor / Customer Service / Driver

• Hiring Immediately for Part-time weekend coverage must be available to work at least 2-3shifts per week. Shift start times can vary between 7:30 am to 11 am and are typically 8-12hrs. We operate 7-days a week.
• Starting pay:$17-$18/hour plus tips (cash tips daily ,card tips on every paycheck) and performance bonuses (paid monthly). Average Total pay has been $25/Hour with Tips and Bonuses.
• We offer co-pay benefits after 1st year.

About the position

• Each shift starts with a commercial vehicle inspection, Followed by our morning safety meeting.
• You’ll head out in our shiny blue trucks to visit customers’ homes and properties and take away their unwanted items while leaving smiles on their faces
• You’ll dispose of items responsibly through various recycling, donating and waste management facilities

About you

• Must be 21+ years of age for (for insurance purposes)
• Willing and able to be a problem solver. ( Our customers depend on us)
• A valid driver's license(Class G)
• A safe, responsible driver with a c lean driving record (past 3 years)
• A positive, friendly attitude & good written and verbal communication skills
• Physically able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly
• Previous customer service, sales, physical labor, and/or driving experience a plus!
