Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing to maintain safe, clean environments for residents.

You will perform housekeeping tasks in residents' rooms and common areas, assist with food prep and serving, and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines. English proficiency and a valid Food Handler Certificate are required or provincially

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
  • Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
About You
  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
  • Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

The hourly wage rate for this position is $18.25. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation.
