Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in our healthcare-food service setting. You will assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs and tables, serve meals, deliver tray meals to residents, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, report injuries or hazards, and may be asked to work independently or as part of a team. A valid Food Handler Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
• Healthcare environment or long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good English communication, both verbal and written.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will

• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About You

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
