Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Multi Skilled Worker to support housekeeping, laundry, and food service for residents with memory and health issues in Moncton. The role operates seven days a week from 6am to 6:30pm and requires reliable transportation and flexibility for shift work, including holidays.

You will lift up to 20lbs, stand for extended periods, and work both independently and as part of a team in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
  • Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
  • Healthcare or long‑term care experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping duties including keeping residents' rooms and common areas clean.
  • Assist with food preparation, serving meals, delivering trays, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and report injuries or hazards immediately.

Job description

Covering areas of Housekeeping, Laundry and Food Service to residents with memory and Health issues. We operate 7 days a week with hours between 6am-6:30 pm. Must be able to multi task, lift up to 20lbs, stand for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation and be available for shift work when scheduled, including holidays.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common areas.
  • Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management
About You
  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
  • Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long‑term care setting is preferred
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
