Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations in a healthcare environment in Greater Sudbury. You will perform housekeeping, assist with food preparation and serving meals, and manage dishwashing while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a valid Food Handler Certificate, experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties including cleaning residents' rooms and common areas.

• Follow health & safety guidelines and report injuries or hazards to supervisor.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, You Will

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About You

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
