Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations with cleaning, food preparation, serving meals and dishwashing. You will perform housekeeping duties in residents' rooms and common areas, assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs and tables, deliver trays, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Health and safety guidelines must be followed; a valid Food Handler Certificate is required, and healthcare experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written, and ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilités

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
