Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Multiskilled Worker to support daily operations in a healthcare setting in Mississauga. The role involves cleaning, basic food preparation, serving meals, dishwashing, and assisting with tray delivery while maintaining high cleanliness standards.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, report injuries or hazards promptly, and work both independently and part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and/or food services is an asset.
• Experience in healthcare environment or long-term care preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.

How you will make an impact:

You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management

About you:

• You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
