Job summary

IS2 Workforce Solutions is seeking a General Fabricator in Canada to join a local client. The role involves setting up and operating manual and CNC plate rolling equipment to fabricate metal parts, reading blueprints, and ensuring accuracy in production.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, full-time with a pay rate of CAD 20-25 per hour based on experience. Physical work includes heavy lifting and collaboration with the team to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC plate rolling equipment to fabricate metal components, including cylindrical shells, cones, and other custom shapes.
• Operate structural steel rolling equipment to form steel sections to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production.
• Use measuring tools and instruments to verify dimensions and maintain accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete fabrication projects safely and efficiently.
• Handle steel materials and perform physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.

Job description

IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring a skilled General Fabricator for a local client! If you have experience working with steel, reading blueprints, and operating plate rolling equipment, this could be a great opportunity to put your fabrication skills to work in a full-time position.

Shift: Straight days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Pay Rate: $20-25 (based on experience)
