Perform fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, bending, and assembling metal parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Handle and transport materials to and from the work area as needed.
Work collaboratively with other team members, supervisors, and departments to complete projects efficiently.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during fabrication.
Identify and resolve fabrication issues or defects in a timely manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Tools: Experience with hand and power tools, as well as fabrication machinery such as welders, grinders, and saws.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication tasks.
Safety: Knowledge of and commitment to safety practices and procedures.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
