Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg is seeking a General Duty – Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a multi-disciplinary imaging team under the Nuclear Medicine Manager. You will perform the operational activities of Nuclear Medicine imaging to ensure a high-quality Diagnostic Imaging service.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, CAMRT Course 1 CT Imaging or plan to attain within 1 year, CAMRT registration with ISCD certification or within 1 year, and

• Graduate of a recognized accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Successful completion of CAMRT's Course 1 of the CT Imaging course or to attain within 1 year from the date of hire.
• Registered and in good standing with CAMRT as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Certified with ISCD or to attain within 1 year from the date of hire.
• Current BCLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational activities pertaining to Nuclear Medicine imaging to ensure delivery of a high-quality Diagnostic Imaging service.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary imaging team under the Nuclear Medicine Manager's direction.

Position Overview

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary imaging team, the General Duty – Nuclear Medicine Technologist under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Manager, performs the operational activities pertaining to the Nuclear Medicine imaging services to ensure delivery of a high-quality Diagnostic Imaging service.

Experience

• Related experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Graduate of a recognized accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Successful completion of CAMRT’s Course 1 of the CT Imaging course or to attain within 1 year from the date of hire.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Registered and in good standing with and certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Certified with the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) or to attain within 1 year from the date of hire.
• Current BCLS certificate.
