Job summary

Allied Universal Canada is hiring a Security Guard for Gatehouse Operations in a warehouse setting. The role involves outdoor and indoor duties, extensive patrols, and strict access control to protect staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Ontario Security License and G driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle emergencies with composure. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have Ontario Security License and G Driver's Licence.
• Experience with mobile patrols and surveillance systems (VVM).
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors and employees; sign in/out and issue access passes.
• Conduct long walk patrols across facility and outdoor areas.
• Monitor video surveillance systems and report suspicious activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors.
• Document security incidents and access logs; report for compliance.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols and coordinate with warehouse team.
