Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard in Burlington, Ontario for a full-time daytime role. The position involves access control, patrolling, and monitoring CCTV and alarms to ensure safety and security of the facility.

The ideal candidate has a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, and strong customer service skills. Competitive pay follows shifts Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols

• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
