Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Guard - Gatehouse Operations in Inglewood, ON. You will manage access control, greet visitors, patrol the facility, and monitor video systems to maintain site security.

The role requires a valid Ontario G Driver's Licence, an Ontario Security Licence, First Aid/ CPR, and strong communication for excellent customer service. Continental day shifts apply with potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
• Experience with mobile patrols and surveillance systems (VVM).
• Strong computer skills including report writing, typing, and basic system navigation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Ontario Security Licence.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen all visitors and employees; issue access passes.
• Conduct long walkthrough patrols of indoor and outdoor areas.
• Monitor video surveillance (VVM) and report suspicious activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors.
• Perform mobile patrols to ensure site safety.
• Document and report security incidents promptly with details.
• Serve as first contact for emergencies per established protocols.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to maintain secure operations.
• Maintain logs of inspections and access control.
