GardaWorld is seeking a Gatehouse Security Guard for a full-time evening shift at an industrial facility in Toronto, Ontario. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, reporting incidents, and managing access to secure areas to keep the premises safe.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• Hold a valid WSIB Approved First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
