Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to monitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents at client sites in Brampton, Ontario. You will perform patrols, document events, and maintain a secure environment while coordinating with authorities as needed.

We offer flexible shifts and opportunities for career growth. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada, hold a security license, and have first aid certification. GardaWorld provides uniform and training support.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and walk during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document events and write detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement for serious incidents.

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
