Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in engine or component maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
• Experience with engine types: CF6-50/80, V2500, CFM56, CFMLEAP, PW2000.
• Knowledge of standard inspection and repair processes.

Your Tasks

The Gas Turbine Engine Mechanic is responsible for disassembly, assembly, inspection, and test stand work on gas turbine engines. Responsibilities include following work plans, using test and measuring equipment, recognizing and reporting defects, certifying work, performing inspections, creating repair documents in ECMS, and ordering parts.

Our Requirements

• Recognized apprenticeship to Transport Canada standards or acceptable foreign aircraft mechanic/technician license.
• Minimum one year of experience in engine or component maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
• Experience with engine types: CF6-50/80, V2500, CFM56, CFMLEAP, PW2000.
• Experience with engine testing is an asset.
• Knowledge of standard inspection and repair processes.
• Ability to work with computer systems, including SAP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
