Job summary

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for a part-time Gas Bar Clerk (15-24 Hours/Week) at our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Wakaw, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Assistant C-Store Team Leader, the role requires delivering Legendary Service, operating the POS, dispensing fuel and propane, stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, clean location.

Candidates should be able to work weekends/evenings/holidays, handle cash accurately, and be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and cash handling.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time efficiently.
• Willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide pump island and in-store service; dispense fuel and propane.
• Operate the POS system, stock and face shelves, and perform housekeeping.
• Complete daily reconciliations and reports; follow safety and company policies.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety Management systems.

Reporting to the Assistant C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Ensure safety is held as the highest priority.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
• Ability to learn and understand the POS system, pumps, propane.
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

• POS experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Willing to obtain WHMIS, propane dispensing certifications.
