Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Gas Analysis Administrator for a 1-year contract with a major Oil & Gas client in Canada. The role focuses on ProTrend administration, fluid analysis, and coordinating sampling and scheduling across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Oil & Gas fluid analysis administration, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Oil & Gas Fluid Analysis Administration experience, including hands-on ProTrend knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of Heavy Oil, Conventional, and Upstream Oil & Gas operations.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and the MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for ProTrend support, troubleshooting, and user training across field operations, production accounting, and operations teams.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for fluid analysis, sampling processes, and ProTrend application administration.
  • Coordinate and administer oil and gas sample scheduling, validation, and distribution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
  • Manage laboratory data imports, analysis validation, audit processes, and exports to various business systems.
  • Analyze schematic drawings to identify sample points, metering locations, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate third-party laboratory analysis, including scheduling, setup, validation, review, and communication of issues or concerns.
  • Support and resolve software-related issues associated with gas analysis processes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
