Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Edmonton, Alberta seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of gas processing facilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions from concept through commissioning.

This role requires 10+ years in oil and gas process engineering, strong design and simulation skills, and a track record of leading projects to successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Current APEGA registration.
• 10+ years of process engineering experience in oil and gas.
• Experience with gas processing facilities and equipment.
• Proficient with Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, Symmetry, Aspen EDR.

Responsibilities

• Develop process simulations and engineering calculations for gas processing facilities.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, line lists, datasheets, and process documentation.
• Create process design criteria, design bases, and technical specifications.
• Size equipment, piping, control valves, pressure safety valves, and flare systems.
• Develop process control strategies and safety design philosophies.
• Prepare operating manuals and start-up documentation.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews and other process safety activities.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, project managers, designers, and fabrication teams.

Requirements:
