Job summary

Socket.dev in Winnipeg, Manitoba is seeking an Operations Support Analyst to ensure the availability of core systems and provide Tier II support. You will liaison with vendors and internal users, document processes, and contribute to infrastructure initiatives while supporting the Operations Draw Administration team and offering on-call coverage.

The role requires post-secondary computer-related education and experience in Linux environments, Oracle/SQL databases, and ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a computer-related field or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in Tier 2 support and escalation; preference for ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Experience maintaining Linux environments with Bash scripting.
• Experience maintaining Oracle and SQL databases.
• ITIL knowledge/certification is an asset.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking with sound decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.
• Lottery experience and SGINET lottery application experience are assets.

Responsibilities
