Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups.Inform management of new sales opportunities and job sites.Double check delivered items to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered.Communicate with dispatch if behind schedule, so customers may be notified.Instruct customers on equipment operation.If equipment is missing or broken upon pick up fill out the appropriate forms and get customer’s signature. Turn in these forms to Branch Manager, along with pick up sheets. Tag and move broken equipment to repair area.Perform vehicle inspections daily, as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels.Complete daily field level hazard assessments and personal protective equipment inspections on E-Compliance (safety management software).What You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.Familiar with local roads.Experience with operating and delivering heavy construction equipment is an asset (earthmoving equipment as well as aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.).Available and willing to work overtime as needed.Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Pride in what you do!Want to learn more about career opportunities at Cooper Equipment Rentals?
