Job summary

Public Outreach is seeking confident communicators to join our in-person fundraising teams across the Greater Toronto Area. You’ll initiate conversations that lead to ongoing donor support for climate action, humanitarian aid, and human rights.

You’ll be a storyteller, advocate, and ambassador—connecting authentically with diverse communities while embracing coaching and leadership development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language
• Availability for full-time work (at least 4 days per week)
• Shifts Monday-Saturday 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Able to work outdoors year-round, rain or shine
• Reliable commute to GTA fundraising sites (Kipling & Vaughan)
• Access to a car is a valuable asset but not required

• Engage face-to-face with the public on behalf of respected non-profits
• Build rapport and tell compelling stories about our charity partners’ work
• Inspire individuals to become monthly donors to sustain meaningful causes
• Represent organizations dedicated to climate justice, equality, and humanitarian relief
• Participate in ongoing coaching and training to strengthen communication and leadership skills
• Work with your team to meet daily and weekly fundraising goals

Location : GTA – city street fundraising team (placement based on need)

Description

Public Outreach is looking for confident, passionate communicators to join our in-person fundraising teams across the Greater Toronto Area. You'll be inspiring folks on the streets of Toronto, your role is to start meaningful conversations that lead to real change.

We represent some of the world’s most respected non-profits – organizations fighting for climate action, humanitarian aid, and human rights. Our charity partners depend on steady, long-term support to continue their life-changing work – and as a Public Outreach Fundraiser, you’ll help make that possible by inspiring people to become ongoing monthly donors.

This is not your average fundraising job. You’ll be a storyteller, advocate, and ambassador – someone who can connect authentically, communicate with empathy, and spark enthusiasm for change.

Requirements:

• Strong command of the English language
• Availability for full-time work (at least 4 days per week) within the following shifts:
  • Monday-Saturday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Ability and willingness to work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round, rain or shine
• Ability to reliably commute to GTA fundraising sites (Kipling & Vaughan).
• Access to a car is a valuable asset but not a requirement (we encourage team carpools!)
