Job summary

Public Outreach Consultancy Inc. is hiring fundraisers in Toronto to represent major nonprofit organizations. No experience required; we seek outgoing people with a genuine interest in connecting with others and a drive to make a difference.

Earn $19/hour guaranteed, with growth to $25–$28/hr based on performance, plus paid training from day one. Full-time and part-time opportunities available, with benefits after 6 months for full-time staff and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Comfortable speaking with new people.
• Enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life.
• Able to work outdoors and on your feet.
• Able to commit to at least 3 shifts per week.
• Experience in fundraising, customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, volunteering, activism, education, care work, or performance/public-facing roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Represent nonprofit organizations through fundraising and outreach.
• Engage with the public to explain causes and collect support.
• Maintain flexible scheduling with at least 3 shifts per week, including one weekday.
• Participate in paid training from day one.
