Job summary

Klinic Community Health Center is seeking a Manager, Fund Development to lead fundraising strategy and donor relations. You will help realize our social justice mission by driving annual campaigns, major gifts, and grant opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience in donor development, strong communication skills, and ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. CFRE is preferred and a commitment to reconciliation is expected.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in area of public relations or fund development, or related field, or a combination of education and experience.
• CFRE, (Certified Fundraising Executive) or other fund development designation preferred.
• Minimum five years’ progressive experience in annual giving, direct response fundraising, digital fundraising or related development functions.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and oversee successful donor-centred fundraising strategies.
• Proven experience in donor prospect development, management and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising plans, policies, procedures, and practices to support the charity.
• Advance annual appeals, major giving, multi-year grant opportunities, and donor relations.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the fund development strategy.
• Schedule flexibility may be required, including evening and weekend work and limited travel.
