Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking an experienced fund accounting professional to lead client relationships for fund administration clients in Toronto. You will prepare and review accounting entries, close processes, NAV calculations, and investor communications, while supporting the development of client relationships and process improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, in-depth fund knowledge, and automation of repetitive tasks using Excel with Paxus and Geneva. Four days in office are required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in fund accounting or related role.
• Strong understanding of complex fund structures and accounting to serve as SME.
• Commercial awareness and client-service focus are essential.
• Experience at a Fund Administrator or with private funds is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service and lead client relationships for fund administration clients.
• Prepare and review accounting entries, monthly close procedures, and related schedules.
• Manage NAV preparation and review process; support production of Financial Statements.
• Assist in investor communications and development of client relationships.
