Job summary

Apex Group in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Accountant to lead client relationships and oversee fund accounting for complex structures. You will drive proactive service delivery and collaborate with global teams to optimize offerings.

With 5+ years in fund accounting, you will manage US GAAP & IFRS reporting, NAV processes, and ensure compliance. The role offers CAD 80,000–120,000 plus discretionary yearly bonus, and requires four in-office days.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years’ experience.
• Understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting.
• Strong commercial awareness and client service focus.
• Prior experience in the industry.
• Demonstrated ability to automate processes.
• Knowledge of investor KYC and AML requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client relationship management for Hedge Fund clients.
• Actively cross selling our suite of services to our client base.
• US GAAP & IFRS reporting standard for various fund structures.
• Assisting in the development of new & existing global client relationships, optimizing service offerings, productivity and profitability.
• Management of the complete audit process.
• Assist in the management of the NAV preparation and review process for our Hedge Fund clients.
• Ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies.
• Work on the integration of large fund administration mandates.
• Collaborating with operational centres.
• Working on ad hoc internal and global projects (as required).
• Ensure all deliverables are met on a timely and accurate basis.
