Responsibilities

  • Maintain the accounting records of Client portfolios (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.).
  • Produce a daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare draft financial statements, audit information packages and tax returns for clients.
  • Develop a professional and productive relationship with Clients and SGGG-FSI staff.
  • Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions.
  • Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have a Client impact.

About The Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our BC team. Reporting to the Manager, Fund Accounting, this entry-level role supports o operational excellence by ensuring the accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Value per Unit (NAVPU) for assigned client portfolios. The role plays a key part in delivering high-quality service to clients while contributing to continuous process improvement. As part of a client-focused Fund Accounting team, you will collaborate across geographic locations, take ownership of deliverables, and consistently strive to exceed client expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Possess or in process of obtaining a professional designation such as CPA, CFA etc.
  • Previous Co-op/Intern experience
  • Fund accounting experience, in a daily or monthly valuation environment
