GardaWorld’s Mississauga distribution center is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents with vigilance and discretion. This on-site role emphasizes sharp observation, detailed reporting, and collaboration with law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification - an asset.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
