Job summary

Giant Tiger in Cochrane, Ontario is seeking a Softgoods Supervisor (Full-Time) to lead a friendly team in our softgoods department. You will deliver outstanding customer service, oversee daily operations, train associates, manage signage and pricing, and ensure policy execution and safety standards.

The role involves inventory, scheduling input, and community involvement. Typical schedules around 35–40 hours weekly, with a mix of day/evening shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven motivator and team leader with retail experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• 1–3 years retail management or keyholder experience with Giant Tiger.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of customer service for the assigned departments.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations.
• Train and communicate policies to department associates daily.
• Manage merchandising, pricing, signs, and labeling; operate RF unit.
• Complete ordering and replenishment of merchandise.
