Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking Security Guards to support diverse client sites in Alberta. The role emphasizes customer service, safe environments, and clear communication to de-escalate and assist visitors and staff.

Typical duties include patrols, CCTV monitoring, first aid, lost & found handling, and timely incident reporting, with various shift patterns and locations across shopping centres, campuses, and office buildings.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation is essential.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the public and team.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or willing to obtain.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Security license is preferred or required where applicable.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols at various facilities.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents.
• Provide first aid when needed.
• Manage lost & found and reporting.
• Write detailed incident reports promptly.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY! Do you love solving problems or brightening someone’s day? Paladin is looking for Security Guards to join our customer service teams at shopping centres, post-secondary campuses, office towers, government buildings, and other facilities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? Our Officers at these facilities conduct regular foot patrols, monitor CCTV cameras, provide first aid, manage lost & found, write detailed incident reports, and more!

HOURS: Mon, Tues & Wed 1130-1700 and 1700-2200, Thurs & Fri 1100-1400 & 1700-2200

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile
• Have strong communication skills
• Hold a valid First Aid/CPR certification, or are willing to obtain
• Are eligible to work in Canada
• Having prior experience and a valid security license is preferred
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License #INDABS
