Securiguard Services Ltd. is hiring experienced Security Guards for premier retail locations in the Mississauga region. Join a trusted security company that values professionalism and career growth.

We seek observant, approachable individuals who deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe environment. Roles include full time/part time shifts with a pay rate of $19.75–$21.15 per hour and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience, preferably in healthcare, mall/retail, campus, or gov't environments
• Diploma in security or law enforcement is an asset
• Ontario Security License and Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Canada Criminal Code
• Ability to prepare professional daily/incident reports

Requirements:

1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov't environment, and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement

Education background in law enforcement, such as Police Foundation/Criminology/Protection Security and Investigation is an asset.

Valid Ontario Security License & Valid Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED

Comfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software

Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy

Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment

Punctuality & Able to stand/patrol up for up to 12 hours.

Strong ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.

Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code, and 494(c)

Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills

Ability to conduct arrests within appropriate and sanctioned situations.
