Responsibilities

• CTPAT Procedures, Access Control, Monitor Security Systems, Conduct Security Patrols, Respond to Emergency Situations.
• The guard will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions inspecting and logging truck traffic and completing patrols.

Position Details

• Position: Full Time Security Guard
• Site: ILSCi
• Site Address: 1025 Green Valley Road, London, ON N6N 1E4
• Hours: Monday – Friday 13:30-22:00hrs excluding holiday (depends on client wants/needs)
• Pay Rate: $20.69/hour
• Posting Date: September 8, 2025
• Internal Closing Date: September 15, 2025
• External Closing Date: October 6, 2025

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR level C certificate with willingness to obtain Advanced First Aid through recognized providers.
• College Diploma in police/security related discipline considered an asset
• 1 Year Security Guard Experience preferably in warehousing & logistics environment
• Certification in Use of Force / Defensive Tactics (e.g., PPCT, MOAB, or equivalent).
• Excellent command of English for client communication, report writing, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with communication and access control platforms.
